Current Mortgage Rates

Current mortgage rates are averaging between 3.75% and 4.25% depending on your, credit, down payment, and a number of other factors.

If you borrowed $200,000 at 4% and paid it back over 30 years, your monthly principal and interest payment would be $954.83 per month. Yes, that is all, $954.83 per month! Remember that does not include property taxes, hazard insurance, HOA, CDD, etc. Mortgage rates are still at a historical low. Personally, I am surprised they have stayed this low for this long. I do expect at some point over the next few years to start seeing mortgage rates rise to around 6%. No one is sure when their rates will start to rise but everyone agrees that they will rise.
